Portrait Photography | People and Places
© 2010 Wazari Wazir | Portraiture | Botanical Garden | Putrajaya Portrait photography is not all about great Bokeh, it is not all about fancy camera equipment, super fast portrait lens like 50mm f1.2 or 85mm f2 lens. Portrait photography is all about capturing the character of the people being photograph the most. For me, there are two kind of a portrait shot, the one where you just concentrate on the person itself, close up shot, maybe head and shoulder shot where, the background is not important, I mean doesn’t need to be in focus because the centre of attraction is the person only, if that is the case super…

Travel Photography | Agra | Children of Heaven
Taj Ganj area is full of photo opportunity, especially if you like capturing human interest other than Taj Mahal, I took this picture just outside my hotel, Saii Palace Hotel. This children are on their way to the nearby mosque, if you can see that little girl holding the “Qur’an” wrapped with the yellow clothes. This children are quite different from normal children that we met in this area, they don’t ask us anything, doesn’t beg for money or candy but we gave them candy anyway because they are too cute and innocent looking children. We want to rush out to get to our hotel even though we haven’t booked any hotel just yet. During our journey from Jaipur The Pink…

Travel Photography | Rajasthan | Jodhpur | Blue City
Jodhpur is the second largest city in the Indian State of Rajasthan, It is also referred to as Blue City due to the blue-painted houses around the Mehrangarh Fort. From New Delhi to Jodhpur is about twelve hours by train, luckily we manage to get A/C Sleeper Class so our long journey quite comfortable, since our journey from Old Delhi Train Station depart at night 8:30PM there’s not much photo opportunity along the way, I woke up a bit late actually, thanks to the A/C coach, maybe too comfortable for me. The train that we took from Old Delhi is 2461 Mandore Express. We have never book our hotel here in…
