Photojournalism | Under One Umbrella
© 2010 Wazari Wazir | Prime Minister Office | Putrajaya This is something unusual actually, something very rare where we can get two leaders under one umbrella. This photograph were taken during Official Welcoming Ceremony of His Excellency Dr. Manmohan Singh Prime Minister of India to Malaysia which took place in Putrajaya just outside our Prime Minister Office. The secret service behind hold the umbrella not because the weather is too hot for the leaders but because it’s raining. I’ve covered this event for quite sometimes but this is the first time where it rains during official welcoming ceremony. Normally it was hot or just cloudy. Child Photography | In His Own World
© 2010 Wazari Wazir | Child Photography | HaiQal | In His Own World | Botanical Garden | Putrajaya I have posted this picture before in colors, just to make a comparison between tone picture and original picture, you can view the post HERE but I like this picture in black and white the most, sometimes the colors tend to be a bit of a distraction, I want people to concentrate on the mood of my son here and I think by stripping away the colors this picture have more impact, have more feel and mood into it. If you look carefully, the shawl that wrapped around my son head…

Portrait Photography | People and Places
© 2010 Wazari Wazir | Portraiture | Botanical Garden | Putrajaya Portrait photography is not all about great Bokeh, it is not all about fancy camera equipment, super fast portrait lens like 50mm f1.2 or 85mm f2 lens. Portrait photography is all about capturing the character of the people being photograph the most. For me, there are two kind of a portrait shot, the one where you just concentrate on the person itself, close up shot, maybe head and shoulder shot where, the background is not important, I mean doesn’t need to be in focus because the centre of attraction is the person only, if that is the case super…
