    Child Photography | Self Expression

© 2010 Wazari Wazir | Child Photography | Self Expression “If it Makes You Laugh, If it Makes You Cry, If it Rips Out  Your Heart, That’s a Good Picture.” ( Eddie Adams ) A picture of a crying child like this is not you typical kind of child photography, usually people don’t take this kind of photograph, most of the time, cheerful, happy smiling and playful child are what most preferred but apart from happy looking picture, this is the reality, children like to express themselves freely, if they want something and they don’t get it, they will cry to gain your attention and most of the times they…

    Travel Photography | It’s a Wide World

© 2010 Wazari Wazir | Travel Photography  | Wide World Choosing the right lens for the right subject can produce wonder, this is a small mosque located next to Taj Mahal to the left if you coming from this main entrance, actually not many people pray here, maybe it was pack during friday prayer but I don’t know. I took this shot with 10-20mm lens to really capture it’s beauty and grandeur. I don’t think I will manage to do justice with this picture if I don’t have UWA Ultra Wide Angle Lens, I know that different lenses produce different perspective but when you want to show your subject the…

Travel Photography | Life Goes On

I know that  a picture at the very top is too blur to be good but I like it that way, I’ve another great looking panning picture that wasn’t too blur but I like that image better, maybe I like the colors and the way the bicycle move downhill and furthermore I like to portray  how chaotic this place is, Taj Ganj area where we stay. Panning shot does take practice and very seldom people do panning with (UWA) Ultra Wide Angle Lens 10-20mm that I’m using, usually photographers will do panning shot with telephoto lens like 70-200mm or 400-600mm shot if they took a picture of F-1 racing cars…

Portrait Photography | People and Places

© 2010 Wazari Wazir | Portraiture | Botanical Garden | Putrajaya Portrait photography is not all about great Bokeh, it is not all about fancy camera equipment, super fast portrait lens like 50mm f1.2 or 85mm f2 lens. Portrait photography is all about capturing the character of the people being photograph the most. For me, there are two kind of a portrait shot, the one where you just concentrate on the person itself, close up shot, maybe head and shoulder shot where, the background is not important, I mean doesn’t need to be in focus because the centre of attraction is the person only, if that is the case super…

Travel Photography | Sunset at Taj Mahal

I took this picture from the rooftop of our hotel, Saii Palace Hotel in Taj Ganj area, just few minute before we leave this hotel for New Delhi. I use 50mm lens for this shot, I wish I’ve a longer lens but I don’t have, In fact the only lens that I bring with me in India is 50mm and 10-20mm lens, talking about traveling light. I wish the weather was very good but it was just quite “okay” for me but not what I’m hoping for. The sun was on the far left side of this picture, so if I want to include the sun in the frame,  Taj…
