    Travel Photography | It’s a Wide World

© 2010 Wazari Wazir | Travel Photography  | Wide World Choosing the right lens for the right subject can produce wonder, this is a small mosque located next to Taj Mahal to the left if you coming from this main entrance, actually not many people pray here, maybe it was pack during friday prayer but I don’t know. I took this shot with 10-20mm lens to really capture it’s beauty and grandeur. I don’t think I will manage to do justice with this picture if I don’t have UWA Ultra Wide Angle Lens, I know that different lenses produce different perspective but when you want to show your subject the…

Travel Photography | Life Goes On

I know that  a picture at the very top is too blur to be good but I like it that way, I’ve another great looking panning picture that wasn’t too blur but I like that image better, maybe I like the colors and the way the bicycle move downhill and furthermore I like to portray  how chaotic this place is, Taj Ganj area where we stay. Panning shot does take practice and very seldom people do panning with (UWA) Ultra Wide Angle Lens 10-20mm that I’m using, usually photographers will do panning shot with telephoto lens like 70-200mm or 400-600mm shot if they took a picture of F-1 racing cars…

Travel Photography | Sunset at Taj Mahal

I took this picture from the rooftop of our hotel, Saii Palace Hotel in Taj Ganj area, just few minute before we leave this hotel for New Delhi. I use 50mm lens for this shot, I wish I’ve a longer lens but I don’t have, In fact the only lens that I bring with me in India is 50mm and 10-20mm lens, talking about traveling light. I wish the weather was very good but it was just quite “okay” for me but not what I’m hoping for. The sun was on the far left side of this picture, so if I want to include the sun in the frame,  Taj…

Travel Photography | Taj Mahal | Within The Frame

Taj Mahal has been photograph million times and I guess each possible angle has been taken already including framing like this one, I’ve always imagine this kind of frame back home in Kuala Lumpur before I went to India. I purposely wait for that person to enter the frame just to have a centre of attraction to make it more interesting, without the presence of a human, I think this picture will look a bit boring, I know that some people hate to have people in their picture, they try to eliminate them or wait until the frame is clear from unwanted people presence. This shot would not be possible…

© 2010 Wazari Wazir | A Printed Memory | A Printed Photographs DSLR or Digital camera are common these days, people get instant satisfaction just by looking at the LCD at the back o the camera and just happy enough to look it at the computer screen, playing slide show and with some music we can enjoy our picture with the whole family, but the problem is we rarely get our pictures printed these days.
