The entire structure of the stupa is symbolic, the white dome represents the earth, while the 13-tiered, beehive like structure at the top symbolises the 13 stages that humans must passthrough to achieve nirvana. At first I was a little bit of afraid to asked them whether I can get a photograph with them but I know then that the worst thing that they will say is NO, so I braced myself and asked them and here is the picture. As a photographer, a photograph of myself is a “priceless souvenir”.
