    India | Catatan Perjalanan

© 2010 Wazari Wazir | Travel Photography | Taj Mahal | Agra | India Apakah aku bermimpi?

Travel Photography | The Importance of Keywords

© 2007 Wazari Wazir | Taman Negara | Malaysia National Park | Batek People This is a picture of Batek people, one of Malaysia’s  aboriginal groups, some people call them “Orang Asli”. I took this picture at the riverbank of Sungai Tembeling, National Park in Pahang. They are “nomadic”, moving from one place to another. I’m not going to write about Batek People here, or to tell you the history of Batek People settlement here in Malaysia but the purpose of this post is about “Keywords”. It is normal to see the moon during daylight if the sky is clear and there is beautiful deep rich blue sky. He was busy playing on his own, running and never stood still, and only by gaining my son attention that I was be able to get this shot. Otherwise I can’t take a great picture, I mean a decent picture of him. Taking this picture at a close distance with 50mm lens at f2.0…

Travel Photography | Taj Mahal | Within The Frame

© 2010 Wazari Wazir | Taj Mahal | Agra India Framing is one of many technique in photography where a photographer try to draw the attention of the viewer to the main subject, which in this case the Majestic Taj Mahal. In this case I use UWA or Ultra Wide Angle Lens 10-20mm to frame this picture, without UWA lens, I don’t think I will get to frame Taj Mahal like this. It is natural for  UWA lens to have a little bit of distortion, it’s normal, so I really don’t mind so much about the distortion. Among few things that you should take into consideration when framing your shot…

Child Photography | In His Own World

© 2010 Wazari Wazir | Child Photography | HaiQal | In His Own World | Botanical Garden | Putrajaya I have posted this picture before in colors, just to make a comparison between tone picture and original picture, you can view the post HERE but I like this picture in black and white the most, sometimes the colors tend to be a bit of a distraction, I want people to concentrate on the mood of my son here and I think by stripping away the colors this picture have more impact, have more feel and mood into it. If you look carefully, the shawl that wrapped around my son head…
