Travel Photography | Jodhpur | Sadar Market | Clock Tower
To get here from our hotel, Govind hotel which is located just the opposite of the main post office we have to pay Indian Rupee Rs60 per Auto Rickshaw, actually this Clock Tower at Sardar Market is not that far, less than fifteen minute by Auto Rickshaw. We have very little time here because we have a train to catch, this is our second day in Jodhpur, don’t have much time to explore other area, so we decided to stop by here at Sardar market before heading to the train station to catch our train that will depart at 9:30AM to Jaipur. As you can see from the clock there,…

Travel Photography | Rajasthan | Jodhpur | Blue City
Jodhpur is the second largest city in the Indian State of Rajasthan, It is also referred to as Blue City due to the blue-painted houses around the Mehrangarh Fort. From New Delhi to Jodhpur is about twelve hours by train, luckily we manage to get A/C Sleeper Class so our long journey quite comfortable, since our journey from Old Delhi Train Station depart at night 8:30PM there’s not much photo opportunity along the way, I woke up a bit late actually, thanks to the A/C coach, maybe too comfortable for me. The train that we took from Old Delhi is 2461 Mandore Express. We have never book our hotel here in…

Kampung Boy
I’ve nothing much to write here but just wanted to share with you a picture taken in 2008 at my Father-in-law house in Kuala Penyu Sabah, approximately two hours drive from Kota Kinabalu. My son can’t walk at the time this picture is taken, he can stand for a few minutes but will fall down once he took his first step, it was easier to take a photograph of him then than now. My Father-in-law village can be considered as backward, very few development here, most of the times we have to rely on the rain for our water supply and when it doesn’t rain, life can be tough. For…

Photoshop Texture Editing
Just wanted to share a quick post here. During Super Friends Penang Outing, I’ve shared few of my editing technique to those who are interested there, among other thing is how to blend texture when the background is BLACK. Just like the picture of A. Samad Said our National Laureate above. Let’s get straight to the point here, I use Screen blending mode here, simply because if I use Soft Light blending mode like I always do, the texture will not “Touch” the black area, meaning the black will remain black. If you don’t believe me, try it, use Screen blending option if you want to blend a texture into…
