Basic Photography | Photoshop Workshops By Ngap-Ngap Fan Club | Lahad Datu Sabah
This is my first Photography and Photoshop Workshops held in Lahad Datu Sabah. I would like to take this opportunity to thanks to the Organizer, Ngap-Ngap Fan Club from Lahad Datu for inviting me and Azman Jumat to conduct a Basic Photography and Photoshop Workshops here in Lahad Datu Sabah. To the President of the Ngap-Ngap Fan Club Mohamad Vicente, a millions thanks to you for giving me your trust to conduct this workshops with Azman Jumat.
There are many peoples that I want to thanks especially to the backbone of the club, Dahari Haji Lisani, Bensar bib Abdul Hamid, Mohd Raizam Shah and to all Ngap-Ngap Fan Club members for giving support during the workshops, I and my friend Azman Jumat could not do it alone, this location at Borneo Paradise is great place to conduct a workshop, serene and tranquil and far away from busy city centre.
To all the participants, thank you very much for joining this workshops and always keep update with Ngap-Ngap Fan Club activity, they are still new but I can see that are very aggressive with their activity especially photo outing.
To learn Photography and Photoshop is never ending process, just keep stay hungry for knowledge, never satisfy with what you already have, I’ve been involve actively in photography since 1993 and up until now, I’m still hungry for more knowledge, I feel that I’m still lacking a “Digital Knowledge” and will always try to keep learning and improving. For the participants, the key to success in Photography and Photoshop or anything that involve skills is to practice a lot and do practice more.
The camera must be the extension of yourself, then only you can take picture effortlessly, no need to worry about ISO, DOF, Aperture, Shutter and all kind of technical things, you just take photograph and in order for you to become “One” with your camera is to practice a lot. Learn by looking at other photographers picture, you may have different taste, you ma have different interest, some like to shoot weddings, portraits and landscape but basically great pictures does share some basic ingredients.
About the photography, learn about all the camera first before you learn about photography, get to know how camera works, how aperture, shutter speed and ISO effect your exposure and how we can use all the combination to our advantage. I know some of the participant who are totally new in photography will tend to get confuse, it’s normal learning curve, Myself alone take years to understand about the camera and if you can learn it in just one day, then you must be genius, we must be realistic, learning something will definitely take time, just be patient and you will get there.
