HaiQal is eight years old today, 22nd August 2015. Time flies, even though I’ve taken a hundred thousand of a picture of my son, I still think it is not enough, I don’t know why, but then I do enjoy every moment of it.

Anyway as usual, we don’t have any fun-fair or big birthday party for my children, this time as usual only with my family, my mother (HaiQal Grandmother), his auntie and his uncle. You can’t see them because I switch-off the light, they are sitting right behind my son, just a little bit far away, to make sure they are not get illuminated by the candles.

Just a small present from my wife to HaiQal, a small Iron Man Action Figure, you can see it lying on the table , next to the cake. I haven’t bought anything for him for his birthday but a gift of photographs but actually I did a coffee-table  for him last month which is quite pricey. You can see it HERE

My son can’t play around with the photo book but I believe that someday, he will appreciate it. A little bit about the photography side, I shot that pictures above with my Fujifilm X100T Camera, I set the ISO at 2500 with a shutter speed of 1/30 at f/4.0. This is 100% using candle light as a light source to illuminate the scene. The tips is to make sure my son face get closer to the cake but far enough from the candles.
