Actually I’ve taken quite a few of his pictures at the school and quite a few of a picture of my son with his friends inside the classroom, but just wanted to share this one. I believe some other parents also take a lot of a pictures of their children going to school especially if it was their 1st day at primary school, some can be seen using their smartphone, in fact majority of them are using smartphones, easy for them to share with friends and family through social media, like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and other social media networks about their children first day at school.

Anyway the photograph above were taken at the end of the school day, most student are already going home, I take the chance of an empty classroom to get a portrait of him inside, I like the quality of the side lighting, I really can’t wasted it, so I make full use of the natural side lighting coming from the door on the left side of this photograph. Photograph were taken with my new Mirrorless Camera, Fujifilm X100T with 23 mm fixed focal length.
