Just a quick post here, sharing what its look like at our five star hotel in Bamboo during our trekking in Langtang Valley. We stayed at basic room with no electricity, the light that you saw there inside the room comes from a small window overlooking a beautiful stream, late afternoon light, normally trekkers doesn’t stay here, they will go up straight to Lama Hotel, just one or two hours trekking from Bamboo, we stay here because it was getting dark and we don’t think we will make it up to Lama Hotel.

The room was very basic, so to those of you who wanted to trek this route (Langtang), I will suggest that you bring along a candle and make sure that you have few extras batteries for your camera. It is very hard to get a hotel with an electricity, some do have that coming from solar panel but they will charge you some fees.

It is very cold here, trust me and if you think you are not going to be comfortable looking at this picture, just take with you a sleeping bag and you can sleep well. There are room with four beds and some are just two beds with shared bathroom, be warned, no heater. The water is so cold up here in the mountain.
