We don’t have any fancy bath tube to begin with just normal ordinary plastic basin to bath our baby. Actually it is a little of an adventure to bath a one week old baby, they are so small and vulnerable. This is not a beautiful picture but someone once told me, that we can’t remember what was happening to us during this period of time until we reach three or four years old. Hopefully with this photograph, Arianna will have a glimpse of what does it looks like when her mother give him a bath.

Most babies will cry during bathing time, maybe they felt uncomfortable with the water which is not too hot or too cold, just a warm water. Actually it was never easy to determine how warm is too warm because newborn baby skin or baby bum is so delicate than our skin. Maybe it is “warm” to us but too hot for our little baby.

Anyway this is not a parenting or how to take care of your baby blog but this is a photography blog. I know this is not a cute looking newborn picture but I believe this is much more stronger picture with a story to tell than a cute looking baby pose with all kind of props. Actually I’ve nothing against a baby photograph with a cute little props, it is just that I’m envy with those who have all those kind of props, with all those cute little baby head gear. I just don’t have it with me just yet and I’m looking forward to buy few “girlie” stuff for my little princess.

In the meantime, just enjoy this photograph while you can because once she grows older, becomes a teenager, insyaAllah, God Willing,  you will never see her bathing photograph again 🙂
