Talking about Kashmir, actually to be honest with you, I really don’t know how to describe it and no matter how I try, no matter how hard I try to photograph Kashmir the best that I can do with my camera, I don’t think my photographs can do justice to its beauty. Yes Kashmir has it own problem, my country also has it’s own problem but then I can see beauty in Kashmir and I’m not here by accident, I choose to be here.

I don’t believe what people say about Kashmir, I want to find it out for myself. Talking about Dal Lake, you can spend hours here or maybe the whole day from sunrise to sunset, watching in admiration, this lake is a living lake, there is a life on this lake, I don’t mean about the fish and those little creatures which occupying the lake, what I mean is, there is people living in and around Dal Lake, and the best thing is that, they are surrounded with beauty. Maybe to those people, it’s nothing, they have seen it all, they are growing up here and can’t see the beauty in it but to my foreign eyes, they are so beautiful.

Now let the picture do the talking, people often said that “a picture is worth a thousand words” but to really appreciate  what Kashmir has to offer, you really have to come in person. Now if you were to asked me, will I come and visit Kashmir once again? I guess you know the answer, because it’s crystal clear…
