I was recently interviewed by Dunia Kamera Magazine, Malaysia Edition for their “Figura Pro” feature. Actually I was a bit surprised when Mohd Khairul Aladin, Dunia Kamera journalist send me an SMS and telling me that he wanted to interview me to be featured for the magazine. Normally I don’t take serious about his SMS but nevertheless I agree and then the rest is history.

Actually after the interview been done, I’ve never heard about it, the journalist never contact me after that but I was curious, I don’t know whether this is just a joke or what, then I went to Kinokuniya KLCC, my favourite bookshop and I saw this magazine and I was surprised to see my name printed on the cover of the magazine, maybe Mohd Khairul Aladin wanted to give me a surprised and he got me there.

Before this I was featured inside Aperture Magazine about my work as one of the official photographer for the government of Malaysia, and most of the pictures there are from my official assignment and this one for Dunia Kamera, it was different, the journalist gives me permission to give them the best picture that I have, actually those are my recent photograph, taken in India, Agra and Kashmir and some of them are from my previous assignment and they are among the best picture that I took recently.

The interview was about my passion in photography, on  how I get interested with photography and why I like environmental portrait photographs, human interest and travel photography. The great news about this interview is that, the journalist found my work through this blog and I highly recommended those who like their work to get noticed to use blog as their platform and you wouldn’t know who might be looking at your work.

One last thing, I would like to take this opportunity to thanks all of my friends who have been visiting my blog regularly, your support really makes me wanted to push extra harder to share a photograph that worth sharing and to those of you who have been dreaming to get your pictures into magazine, just keep up the good work, share it online, be active online, share it on your blog regularly, share few tips and knowledge that you know with your readers and believe me, someday, someone will find you.
