“If these picture have anything important to say to future generations, it’s this, I was here, existed. I was young, I was happy, and someone cared enough about me in this world to take my picture”
– Robin Williams –
Just forget about the color tones if it is not your cup of coffee but the most impotent thing is the moment, I don’t have this kind of a photographs myself when I was a kid, I don’t have a photographs of me with my other siblings, our family does not have a camera back then, in those days it can be consider as a luxury item that only belong to the rich, hence, I have very few photographs of myself and most of them were taken by my uncle or my aunties cameras.
Anyway nowadays most people especially those who lives in urban areas have a camera with them, even if they don’t have DSLR, I’m sure most new mobile phone nowadays have a built in camera and we can take pictures anywhere and anytime. My point writing this article is that, take your time from busy schedule to take a photographs of your family members, trust me, your little kids will thank you for taking your time photographing them in the future. I’ll leave you with Albert Einstein quote…
“A photograph never grows old. You and I change, people change all through the months and years, but a photograph always remains the same. How nice to look at a photograph of mother or father taken many years ago. You see them as you remember them. But as people live on, they change completely. That is why I think a photograph can be kind.”
