Photojournalism | A Moment to Remember | Deputy Prime Minister Walkabout at Pekan Sungai Besi | Kuala Lumpur
© 2012 Wazari Wazir | Malaysia’s Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin (plain white shirt), Today Went on a Walkabout With Local Residents at Pekan Sungai Besi, 14 June 2012
Normally I don’t share this kind of a picture but to me this is something different, I grew up here in Pekan Sungai Besi, this is the place that I received my first education, this is the place that I learn ABC from the primary school nearby and this is the place that I normally take my family to have lunch, dinner or just to buy some grocery items.
It is my great pleasure and feel honored to be given this assignment to cover this memorable walkabout by our Deputy Prime Minister, Muhyiddin Yassin. The walkabout start from Ibnu Khaldun Mosque (Masjid Jamek Ibnu Khaldun) towards the hawkers area nearby, where I get my groceries.
Yes I know that this picture is not “Awesome”, “Wow”, “Amazing”, “Breathtaking”, “Great Shot”, but nevertheless it’s brings a sentimental value and I’m glad that I was there to witness and photographs this memorable walkabout.
