This is what my son will do when he get tired of me chasing him around with my camera. He want to be free playing around, after all these years he get so accustomed to the camera but still, it will never be easy for me to photograph him. Sometimes he just is not in the mood. For me I will never get tired taking picture of my son, I like to capture his expression, even though the composition is still the same, the angle is still the same but each and every time I photograph him, the expression will be different. I want to photograph my son growth, to document his life, his childhood life.
You might be wandering why I seldom post a picture of my assignment picture here. The reason is simple, I just don’t want to post a picture where you can normally found on the newspaper, furthermore I don’t have any intention to switch job at the moment, I don’t plan to use my blog as a stepping stone to promote my work, to get a clients because I didn’t do that kind of a business. I will continue sharing my personal picture here, my family picture here. I will also try my very best from time to time to share few tips about photography, few behind the scene story about my life as a photographer but most of the time you will see a photograph of my son my family. I just wanted to stressed out that family will always comes first.
My photojournalism career is only as a mean to brings food to the table. It doesn’t mean that I don’t like my job, in fact it is my chosen profession but then again, I’ve more in my life than just a photojournalism life. I think it is a also good to share the life of a photojournalist outside his normal working hour. What I do other than taking picture of VVIP, politician, Minister, Prime Minister and all other high profile personality which have no direct connection with my family other than just a subject of my photograph. “They” did pay my job to make me and my family happy and nothing else matters.
