Whenever I have free times, I like to bring my family KLCC or Kuala Lumpur City Centre where we have this once the tallest building in the world, that is Petronas Twin Tower, but it no longer hold the title but i guess it is still the tallest “Twin Tower” in the world. One of the reason why I like this place is because I love spending my time at Kinokuniya Bookstore which is located at the fourth floor inside Suria KLCC shopping complex.
Aquaria is located inside KLCC as well but it was inside “Kuala Lumpur Convention Center” where normally they have large exhibition here because of the huge size of this place. The entry fee for Malaysian adult is RM35.00, RM45.00 for non Malaysian and RM25.00 for child below three years old, RM35.00 for non Malaysian child the same age.
Among the highlight of this place is the 90 meter tunnel tank with a moving travelator where you can marvel at Sand Tiger Sharks, stingrays, marine turtles and other sea creatures swimming around unhindered in the vast oceanarium. We spent more than four hours inside the Aquaria, you can going back and forth inside the tunnel until you satisfied, in fact I spend more time at the tunnel more than any place here at Aquaria.
The pictures above were taken at Aquatheatre during “Feeding Frenzy” time where a diver will feed a sharks in side the giant aquarium in front of a lot of people. Sharks feeding time happen only on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at Aquatheatre at 03:00 PM. Just make sure you are there in front of the Aquatheatre at least fifteen minutes before the show time to get the best view or seat position especially if you come here during weekend or during school holidays.
