The picture above was not taken in Alsace in Northeastern France but it was taken at Bukit Tinggi Pahang in Peninsular Malaysia, you see Malaysian flag behind my wife there. Just close to our home but not too close to our home. To get here from Kuala Lumpur will take approximately 45 min by car. Most of the times we can find a great beautiful location no matter where we live but sometimes we tend to procrastinate, we think maybe we will visit this place or that place later because it was so close and yet after few years go by we never set foot at that particular interesting place which is located not very far away from our home.

Sometimes I just smile when a friend of mine said to me that they plan to take their family here, but don’t know when, so I just tell them, what’s stopping you, just fill those oil tank and hit the road, after all it is just less than an hour drive to get there. You don’t even need a lot of money to get here or any interesting place that we want to go but still undecided when to go.

I was kind of guy who like to make a spontaneous decision without really think so much about it, I just ask my wife, what’s the plan today and when she can’t decide, I just tell her, why don’t we go here or there, most of the time we don’t even discuss about our weekend escapade, we just go if the location is not too far from our home, same like when we decide to go to Malacca a Historical State of Malaysia, we just go there without any proper planning.

Most of the times we took for granted something that is so close to our home, take for an example our very own Kuala Lumpur Tower, I do believe that many people who lives nearby Kuala Lumpur who can afford to go up there, but never been there, I mean never been going up there, up there inside the Kuala Lumpur Tower. Maybe they think that, they can go there anytime, it was at our very own backyard so why need to hurry. I know that I have no right to tell people what to do with their own life but to those of you who wish to go to some place somewhere, sometimes but never go because all kind of a reason, my advice is just go, never think so much about it especially those who have a family. Just do it, just go.

Nowadays in Malaysia we have our very own low cost carrier which is AirAsia and true to its tag line that “now everyone can fly”, to be specific not everybody can fly but most people who have consistent income where they are working by themselves or just a low ranking Government officer do can fly if they really take advantage of the low price promotion, but I don’t want to talk about promotion here but most people who can afford to go somewhere sometimes never took that advantage, I’m talking about the people who always said they want to go here, they want to go there but never go, they are very good at procrastinate and that’s their greatest enemy.

To those people who like to be at home most of the time, who doesn’t like to go outside of their home for whatever reason, happy to be at home, then this article is not for them, this article is for those who want to go somewhere but never took off. I should have written the last sentence in the very beginning but then again thanks for taking your precious time reading my blog, now just hit the road.
